Project HIVEMINDS was a project I worked on during my internship at the Digital Society School Amsterdam and with non-profit organization Bits of Freedom. I was part of an international and interdisciplinary team of designers, researchers, and business innovators. The goal was to raise awareness and start a conversation around the ethical and privacy concerns of AI in surveillance technology, using design to make these concerns tangible and serve as a conversation starter. Our work was backed by research that we also published on Bits of Freedom’s website and our own platform. With our project, we got invited to present at the Dutch Association for the Rights of AI and Robotics (NVAIR).'
