social design.
social design.
My social design practice operates between installation, research, and public space, using audiovisual and generative systems to explore community, identity, technology, and cultural memory. These projects are inquiry-driven and spatial, examining how digital structures shape perception and collective experience. This is where I test methods, challenge aesthetics, and expand the language that informs my applied design work.

Dancing Fragments
2026
audiovisual design / archival media / sound design / queer history
Dancing Fragments is a sculptural audiovisual installation inspired by Nijmegen’s queer house and techno scene, using the legendary Extravaganza party as a starting point. Stoorzenders
2025
radio technology / techno anarchism / audiovisual design / spatial design
Stoorzenders is an ongoing research project that explores how gentrification, commercialization, and surveillance are reshaping urban space, and in turn erasing the voices that once defined it. Rooted in Nijmegen, the project takes the form of a foldable, off-grid installation composed of self-built radio antennas and a decentralized server. Together, they create a portable, autonomous infrastructure for collecting, storing, and transmitting hidden or forgotten stories from the city.
